Zoltan V
Building
on the Empress VII, the Zoltan V adds bass power, speed and control via
use of twin 7" base units instead of a single 9" unit. Frequency range
of the Zoltan V is an astonishing 20 - 30,000 Hz -3 db!
Processing, controlling and assembling of Zoltan is handled by
skilled craftsmen within Peak's own facilities. Countless hours of
measurement and critical listening are logged to correlate design theory
and practice. Zoltan's impedance curve looks more like a purely
resistive ribbon than a dynamic speaker, making use with any kind of
amplifier easy.
The speaker includes an acoustical odd order crossover in the
tweeter/midrange section and a third order in the midrange/base section,
and uses all the high quality components and wiring as the Empress VII.
The final blend of art and technology have made Zoltan V an
uncompromising performer. Zoltan V is a true state-of-the-art
loudspeaker, able to recreate music with stunning realism, regardless of
whether or not you are using small tubes or a big solid-state
amplifiers.
The Zoltan V is designed for rooms of 225 square feet and larger.
Frequency range is 20 - 30,000 Hz -3dB. Sensitivity is 92 dB. Impedance
is 4 ohms. Dimensions are 42.5"H x 11.5"W x 15"D. Weight is 146 lbs
each.
