Did we ever have a lot of fun
with this system at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. Every show we try to put
together a very special system and this system is one of our all time
favorites. Before choosing the speakers and amp combination we tested
this system in our office with, of all things, Black Sabbath's War Pigs!
The tonality, accuracy, speed and, most of all, extraordinary explosive dynamics had
us smiling from ear to ear. We couldn't believe what these
speakers were capable of when driven extremely well and we knew we had a winning system. When the Scheherazade CD went on it was chills up your spine! So the system was
selected for demonstration at Rocky Mountain.

requirements we've tweaked the system a bit since the show. Our
recommended system consists of the Peak Consult InCognito XII speakers,
the Chord Electronics Red Standard CD player, the Chord CPA 500 pre-amp,
Chord's 350 watt SPM 1200E power amplifier and Van den Hul's 3T Mountain
interconnects and 3T Cloud speaker cable. The 1200E amplifier looks
exactly like one of the mono-blocks shown above, so just imagine the
bottom component removed and this is exactly what the system would look
